Stumbled upon this place hole wandering the city( via Yelp!). I’m so happy I found it! The quirky little shop is filled with beautiful jewelry,amazing art prints, kitschy vintage store finds, beautiful journals and knickknacks! The store also has a beaded jewelry making station. I started talking with the owner and the owners daughter ( possibly the owner and the owners mom?) and they couldn’t be any nicer! I started asking for tips of other places to venture to in the area and they were more than happy to help. I will definitely be back, hopefully for one of their art gallery events!
I went in and spent $80!!! HOW DID THAT HAPPEN???!!!?!?!!I just went in to get a gift for my friend’s bridal shower!! And then I also ended up getting something for my sister and more than a few things for myself!! GAH!!!! Leanna Lin, you are a wicked, wicked genius!!!!

Walking into this place for the first time to buy a birthday gift for one of them, I felt like I could (almost) literally pick up ANY object in the store and give it to ANY such friend, and they would be pleased with it. This store has: pretty, fun, hip jewelry; cute hair accessories; beautiful and affordable glass and ceramic pieces; adorable teeny tiny terrariums with little tiny succulents in them; great Japanese toys and collectible figures (DOMO!!!!!); and cool-and-cute-as-hell T shirts made by Spicy Brown. As mentioned in other reviews, a lot of the stuff is made by local artists, including the proprietress herself. Leanna is genuinely warm, friendly and helpful – and I really had the sense that this is SO much more than a moneymaking venture for her; rather, it feels like a labor of love. I bought my friend a lovely T shirt. Meantime, my husband and I were so blown away by the limited edition, signed Shepard Fairey Hello Kitty piece mentioned by Anna K (that he did for the Sanrio 50th anniversary) that we had to go back and buy it next day. When we went back, Leanna was hosting a sweet Mother’s Day event that involved vegan cookies and mimosa. Hard to go wrong there! In short: a sweet, artful, fun store with great local goods right here in the Northeast. Perfect.

I was having my hair done at Double-O with Cynthia and I mentioned that I was in a pinch to buy a birthday gift for a girlfriend. She hooked me up with Leanna Lin’s Wonderland a couple of doors down. I was surprised to discover a store that would have been the store I would have opened if I had the guts. I swear, when I opened the door, there was a chorus singing in my head and spotlights going around the whole store, like in the movies.It’s Japanese Hello Kitty artsy hip. I bought a cute tee for my friend with a bday momiji doll. Since it was close to Valentine’s day and my wedding anniversary, I picked up a heart momiji doll and the cutest card there. I also picked up a limited addition Hello Kitty doll. See, didn’t I tell you it was a store that mirrors my heart? She had one of the limited edition print from the Sanrio anniversary was late last year. There are lots of fun and cute things to purchase for your grown up girlfriends. Okay we have been back here a few more times since our first visit. Each time we visit this cute store, we see more new merchandise and vintage finds for sale. This is bad, bad meaning good!! It has been a long time since I have been in a store where my eyes exploded and my heart wanted all that was around me. I am in love with this new store located in the wonderful Eagle Rock area of Los Angeles. There are handmade stuffies & hair trinkets & a ton of other awesome stuff. I found small strawberry earrings that reminded me of the ones that I had when I was a wee chitlin. For $20 (not including a discount of 10%) I purchased the earrings, two buttons, a hair elastic, and two kawaii deers. The prices were really good & this is a great place to go for gifts. The owner (who was very sweet) also makes jewelry, she mentioned that she will be having classes at some point. The store is super bright & I loved the bright pink door! I will be back!

This place is so- freaking- CUTE.The way this place is decorated is exactly what I wanted a room in my future home to look like. It’s bright and colorful without damaging your eyes. Everything you can ever want for small gifts for yourself or for other is right here. From cute little cups, to eclectic pop jewelry, bags, artwork, accessories, t-shirts, and small wallets. Most, if not all, of the jewelry are from local artists and Leanna has her own line right at the register. As for t-shirts, she had a great selection of Spicy Brown shirts and merchandise because, hey, she’s friends with the artist! Go figure! I love me my Spicy Brown so I’m always happy to see different selections of the designs in this store. Also, there’s a great selection of art work lining the walls that are for sale, if you’re looking to drop some monies on those. It’s soo worth it~ Leanna also has a super cute selection of beadings and jewelry if you wanted to make your own custom gift for a friend. You can spend as little or as much as you want in this place, it’s all pretty affordable. I walked out with THE CUTEST little hair clip with a mouse (because my Chinese zodiac sign is the mouse) on it for only $5 and as much as it was an impulse buy, I wear it all the freaking time. It’s little things that like that make Leanna’s worth visiting. There’s also plenty of little events and sales going on with a couple of food trucks as a special guests so it’s actually great to join her email list as well as picking up the fliers. And whether it’s Leanna or her mom that’s manning the store, they are a pleasure to chat with, offering suggestions or simply sharing stories. They’re never pushy and always so nice. Whether I buy anything or not, I always leave this place with a smile. Go visit her!

SWEET TINY BABY JESUS IN A BABY BJORN. I love this place. I am in my art studio right now looking at the teeny, tiny pink and green deer I bought there. You heard me. Deer. Its VERY asian (ASIAN!) and very artsy and as wonderful as Wonderland. I am going there tomorrow to shamelessly plug my new bead making and I’m hoping she will carry some of my bottlecap charms as well. Maybe I’ll even teach a class or (PINCH ME) have a show there sometime in the future. Leanna Lin is as cute as she is nice. The moment I walked into this lovely little shop I squealed with delight! It has the perfect eclectic mix of mid century home accessories and vintage jewelry and kawaii cute Japanese objects of all kinds…and beautiful designs from local artists! Such a well curated collection. My husband commented that he now knows where to buy all of my presents. Yay!The owner is cute as a button too, and super nice!
I got almost all my Christmas presents from Leanna last year and everyone loved them! This shop is just delightful and Leanna is a total doll, super-talented, and has just really put together an enchanting place to shop, browse, be inspired, etc. She also sells beads and a big work table at which she encourages people to come and make projects!!
